Vasco Lucas Nunes has worked extensively in media production worldwide since the early 90s. Following the formative years as a TV lighting designer in Europe, editor at CNN Center, slow-motion operator and assistant in Europe and the US, he completed a masters in cinematography at the American Film Institute.  His work as cinematographer and producer has become part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, garnered international cinematography awards, two Grand Jury Prizes at Sundance, a Peabody award, an IDFA Special Jury Prize, and film selections at major festivals, including Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, Locarno, Vancouver, Seattle, Melbourne, Pusan, Karlovy Vary, and London.  He has also contributed to several visual campaigns including the NBC’s Tonight Show Open and MTVs Logo Relaunch a first since its inception.
